Walk, run, hang out and take pictures. I have yet to decide what I will do during tomorrow’s Fourth Annual Queen City Walk/Run at 9 o’clock. On one hand I have a medal to defend, a first place finish in the men’s 20-29 age group last year. On the other hand, admittedly, this cyclist’s victory at around 24 minutes was largely impacted by a lack of runners in that age range. Plus, nothing beats taking pictures. I could walk and try to do both, but all of the real action is near the starting and finish lines.

Regardless, I do know where I’ll be afterwards – at our team’s to-be-inaugurated headquarters conveniently located at 508 Watchung Avenue, near the end of the 5k. After finishing whatever you do at the walk/run, come on down to the storefront full of blue and yellow signs.

From 10am until 2pm, meet the candidates and enjoy fish and grits with us.
