Plainfield’s Women Against Trump march

On Saturday, April 16, at least sixty demonstrators took part in the state’s first women-led protest against Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump. “Women against Trump” shirts were available for purchase at a Netherwood Train Station rally before marchers made their way down East Seventh Street. Last week, MC Enigma of hip hop duo Negros Americanos held his annual Emagin Book Scholarship fundraiser at Hugo’s Lounge, in Plainfield.
