Today, Saturday July 15, the Plainfield Anti-Violence Coalition will lead a commemoration of the Plainfield Rebellion, which took place exactly 50 years ago.
The commemoration will take place at the corner is Plainfield Avenue and West Fourth Street at 5pm, and attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items if possible.

I went to Clinton school, riots is a term used by the oppressor, rebellion is the term used by the oppressed, it was in fact a rebellion!
