On Saturday, thousands gathered at Cedar Brook Park as we do every year. The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders held yet another Rhythm and Blues by the Brook concert on the first Saturday in June. This year’s lineup included Sister Sledge, Blackstreet, C & C Music Factory, and Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials.
I didn’t take many pictures this time around, but luckily I had a big help. Fifteen year old Mikaela Horn, of Plainfield, took photos throughout the event.
Hopefully she will enter some of her images into this year’s Plainfield Library photo competition (learn more here). The subject is “The Best of Plainfield: People, Places, and Things.”
