On Monday night, my computer failed me – or perhaps I failed it – and I was unable to upload video from the night’s City Council meeting in time for the morning. Usually, if I can’t manage – or don’t bother – to post a video the night it’s recorded, I scrap it for good.
However, the City Council’s discussion of the South Avenue Gateway PILOT was so spirited that I feel it may have relevance a day later, especially since PCTV no longer posts video to Youtube. You can read Bernice Paglia’s first and second stories about the controversy.
Here is what I was able to record. My apologies for any shakiness, as it is not feasible to use a tripod in municipal court.
Pathetic.
When NYC gives 30 year tax breaks to housing developers, they are 80% high income, 20% low income, and they accept Section 8 vouchers.
