Yesterday afternoon, the People’s Organization for Progress held a press conference on the steps of Plainfield City Hall in support of the Million People’s March, which will convene over one hundred organizations on Saturday, July 25th in downtown Newark. Learn more about the mobilization at POP’s website or the march’s Facebook page.
At yesterday’s press conference, POP Chairman Larry Hamm, POP Plainfield Chairman Steven Hatcher, and Glen Ford of Black Agenda Report spoke along with several members of the our community. Understanding how much Plainfield View readers appreciate organization, I gave each speaker their own video.
