Nimes, Marseille, & Geneva

I am bored in a Moscow Airport this morning, so I figured I’d share some more photos.

Nimes

On Thursday I arrived in Nimes where a friend from the Paris region now lives. We wondered why there were so many French soldiers in the center of town, so we asked the first one we walked by. He happened to be one of the only US Marines stationed in France.

No other pictures from Nimes that day.

Marseille

On Friday we went to Marseille.

Then Saturday morning I took a walk around Nimes before catching a noon train to Geneva.

Stumbled upon the La Fontaine gardens.

Not only are the gardens more beautiful than I can show, but you can eat or drink there, too, as there is a cafe on one end.

Geneva

Late Friday afternoon into the night, I hung out in Geneva awaiting my flight time. The plane was delayed an hour, so I was able to stay later than expected.
