Plainfield talks decarceration (still no video)

Update 7:14am 2/26: Due to unprecedented failures on the part of my computer, you can expect the video tomorrow morning folks. Unfortunately, there will be a slower than planned release of all the media from that night.

Update 2:20pm 2/25: I am at work waiting for notification that my home computer has finished uploading the video. Apparently it has not yet.

Last night Decarcerate NJ, Keeping Youth & Streets Safe (KYSS), the People’s Organization for Progress (POP), and Plainfield View held its first event on mass incarceration. Below is video of the first four speakers: Keynote Reverend Charles F. Boyer of St. James AME Church in Somerset, KYSS Co-Founder Sabrina Lyttleton, POP Chair Stephen Hatcher, and Courtney Perales Reyes of NJ Youth for Immigrant Liberation.

Video of community speakers and images from the event will follow tomorrow.

The recording of the speakers will appear here between 10am and noon as soon as it is available. Sorry for the delay.
