Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church leads Ferguson Solidarity March

Guest speaker Dr. Rashida Govan delivered a poignant sermon on Sunday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Plainfield, relating the struggle against state sponsored violence to the resolve and compassion encouraged by her own faith. After service, the congregation lead a solidarity march down Park Avenue.

  1. Too bad our local churches don’t have the same (com)passion about the issues affecting our
    community, but of course why would they. Yes, I know it’s the Mayors church, which makes it
    even more pathetic.
