September 7th KYSS protest photos

This Sunday marked the third anti-violence protest by Keeping Youth & Streets Safe in four weeks. Members of Decarcerate NJ made the trip to Plainfield to demonstrate with KYSS. Here is some of what took place.

After the demonstration made its way to the Hispanic Heritage Festival, organizer Sabrina Lyttleton was able to speak to Mayor Adrian Mapp and his wife Amelia

One of yesterday’s protesters, Bishop the Eastside Nappyhead, recently made a music video about violence in Plainfield and beyond. It features Negros Americanos duo-mate MC Enigma, and Kansas City rapper Str8 Jakket.
