Update, August 30, 2014: Nelson Hernandez has been found safe at a New York hospital. Read more here.
You may remember Nelson Hernandez from Sunday’s protest against violence in Plainfield. According to his brother Eddy, he has now gone missing.
Nelson was last seen driving from his friend’s house on Tuesday, August 26th, at 12:30am. At the time he was in his 1998 2-Door Honda Civic with a black front bumper, and has no ID or wallet with him. According to family, Nelson suffers from severe depression and hasn’t taken his medication for a while.
Let’s keep Nelson in our thoughts and hope for his safe return. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts, please contact his brother, Eddy Hernandez at (908)-251-4537 or via email eddo_14@yahoo.com.
The facebook page of the protests’ organizers has become a meeting place for the effort to find Nelson Hernandez. See the flyer below.
I posted it on Facebook. Hopefully someone will see him and he be found. I pray he is safe.
