Wow, it’s been eight whole days since my last post, much longer than the customary two days or so. And while plenty of people have come in to check the stories I have already posted, I do miss writing new material. However, with the School Board campaign in its last days and deadlines, deadlines, deadlines at work, I have been understandably very busy. After the election, I will be back to business as usual.
While I do miss writing, this is a very exciting time for me. I’ve worked on countless campaigns, but this is the first time I’ve run in an election myself. It will be a lot more exciting if we are able to pull out a victory on November 5th. Financial support is great, and moral support is also important.
Our signs are available! If you’d like one, please email viewplainfield@gmail.com and give your name and address. Unless I personally know you very well, I will knock on the door and verify that any addresses I am given do indeed want a sign.
The best support, however, is your votes. I encourage you to vote 2, 3, 5 for Wilma Campbell, Frederick Moore, and me, David Rutherford.
